They need warmth and attention. They need enthusiasm and encouragement. Most of all, they need the joy and challenge of doing it themselves. Because that's what helps children learn and grow.
Philosophy On Toilet-Training
A child will only learn to use the toilet when they want to. A lot of parents are in a rush to get their children out of diapers. I understand that myself, as a parent, but all you can do is read their cues to find out if they are ready.
