If you praise a child for good behavior repeatedly, that's the behavior your likely to see from them. Children love to be praised and complimented. This helps with self esteem and teaches them to treat others with respect. I try to solve any behavior problems with positive reinforcement and good communication with the parents. Time out is a last resort.
Philosophy On Teaching
I try to find fun ways to keep the kids interested. In the morning we do Circle Time. They learn their months, days, alphabet, numbers, discussion, etc.Kids love music and I find they learn alot from educational songs and dances. If something is done with them, routinely everyday, they catch on really fast.
Philosophy On Toilet-Training
Toilet training can be very rewarding for a child. If they are ready they will have fun and be proud of themselves. As long as they are ready and you dont push it on them too early. I have a sticker chart posted on the wall in the bathroom. Every time they use the bathroom they get a sticker. They love it and it works!

I took many child development classes in high school.I have a lot of patience and understand what it takes for a child to be able to achieve their goals.
