Philosophy On Discipline
My philosophy is that you use discipline to teach a child. I achieve this through love, consistency, and firmness. The children are explained the rules of the child care home frequently, so they are all familiar with the guidelines.
The following methods of discipline will be used:
Encourage children to solve problems themselves, Intervention and discussion, Re direction to another play area, Loss of privileges and time out.
Under no circumstances will there be spanking, physical abuse, verbal abuse, name calling or isolation used. Neither food nor sleep will ever be with held from a child as a means of punishment.
Philosophy On Teaching
Each child is their own person, therefore they will learn at their own pace. I use a very good preschool program that is a lot of fun and educational for each and every child. It is age appropiate, therefore every child will learn from it.
Philosophy On Toilet-Training
Toilet training can be a difficult time for everyone involved. It takes a lot of patience and time. When you child is ready for toilet training, he[Hidden]she will show signs. Only then will I help in training your child. I will not force him[Hidden]her.
Some children train very quickly, others take a longer time.
But together, we can have your child potty trained in a short time.
