Philosophy On Discipline
I believe in democrative disapline, meaning placing the major emphasis
on explaining the
meaning of rules and
repeating them until
the child learns them. I also believe in prasing children. When children are praised for what they do well, I have found that the child is more likely to behave. If punishing the child is necessary, I feel as if the child should be able to explain why he or she did what they did. I then explain to them why they cannot do this, and teach them what to do next time instead.
Philosophy On Teaching
I believe children learn best when they are having fun. When I work with children academically, I always make sure to incorperate some sort of project into the learning.

Description of Experience
I have been watching children for the past 6 years now raning from the age of 1 month to 12 years of age. While babysitting, I always make sure to have activities planned for the entire duation of the job. I take the children on walks, and to the park. We bake and do arts and crafts. We read and play for hours. With parents permission I love taking children to different places depending on their age. I will not sit your child in front of the T.V.
