I'm Having Trouble Logging Into My Account
If you have having trouble logging into your account, here are a few things to try:
1. Make sure you are logging in as a provider from this login page here.
2. Have your username and password emailed to you using this link here.
3. Make sure that session cookies are enabled for your browser - instructions for Internet Explorer:
A. Open Internet Explorer
B. Click the Tools menu item
C. Click the Internet Options.. choice
D. Click the Privacy tab along the top
E. In the Settings group click the Advanced... button
F. Ensure that if you are overriding automatic cookie handling that you check the Always allow session cookies checkbox
G. Click the Ok button to save your options and close the advanced form
H. Click the Ok button to save your options and close the internet options interface

Do parents have to pay to see my information?
Parents can see a provider's openings and the last time they updated for free. Parents need to subscribe to see the expanded information about providers, including photos, philosophies, contact information, and details. We would love
to keep the site completely free, but as the site grows we need more resources to support it.

Can you explain the enhanced listings?
Enhanced listings give you two things... you get your own website, and all your information is visable to parents without the parents needing to subscribe. This way, parents have no barriers to being able to see all your information. Your website will have an address
like yourchildcare.daycarematch.com. The website includes the same information as your profile on daycarematch.

How do I update the website included with my enhanced listing?
Your website includes the exact same information as your profile on daycarematch. You update your website by logging in to your daycarematch profile. You don't need to know anything about websites or computers to be able to maintain your website. You can update it as often as you want.

How will parents find me?
In 2009 we are averaging about 27,000 unique visitors to the site per month. Parents find us through search engines and the advertising we do on your behalf.

Is it Easy?
You bet! It takes just a couple minutes to list your daycare and fill out information about the care you provideand what children experience when in your care.

What determines the order in which listings come up?
We've recently changed the order in which we display our search results. Our goal is to
present the parents searching the site with the providers who most closely match the parents' needs at the top of the list
You can help your listing show up closer to the top by keeping your openings updated on a regular basis, and filling out your listing completely.

I'm not good with computers, can I still use Daycare Match?
Absolutely! We tried to make it as easy as possible. As long as you have the internet, you can list your daycare. It will take about 10 - 20 minutes to fill out the information the first time you list your daycare. After that, it will take just a couple of minutes to update your information when your openings change, or if anything else changes. If you get stuck, just let us know and we'll walk you through it.

If I give you my address and e-mail, are you going to load me up with junk mail?
No way! We will not sell or rent our database, which means we won't give your information to anybody else. It annoys us to get mounds of junk letters and e-mail, so we won't do it to you. Promise!

How does the waiting list work?
You can decide if you want to accept names for a waiting list or not. If you do, when parents look at your listing, they will see a box where they can add their name to your waiting list. You will see these names when you log in to your account. If you know you have an opening coming up, you can call the names on your waiting list, and hopefully fill your opening right away.

Do I have to fill out all the information?
No. About 15 of the items are required for your listing to be shown to parents. Many of these are yes/no type questions, so nothing too difficult. There are a couple of other items that you must fill-out to be eligible for the monthly drawing. Our goal is to provide more information to the parents using our site.

How do I include pictures?
First, you have to have a digital copy of your pictures. You can either get that by using a digital camera, scanning the photo, or taking your film to some place that can put your pictures on a disc. Once you have the pictures on disc, go to the "location photos " menu. It will walk you through how to load your pictures. Still have questions? Let us know. We'll walk you through it

My listing isn't showing up. What's wrong?
Check and make sure all the required fields are filled out. Required fields have a red " R " next to them. On your provider home page, it will tell you is your listing is " listed " or " not listed ". If you think you have everything filled out and you're still not seeing your listing. Call or e-mail us. We'll figure it out and make sure your listing gets posted right away.

Why is my listing showing up at the bottom of the list?
The order of where you show up in the search listings is
partially based on when you last updated your profile. Providers that update their listing frequently
will show up closer to the top than a provider who hardly ever changes her information. We want to keep our information current for parents, so we really want you to keep your information
fresh. If you want to show up higher on the list, just update your information/openings more often.

I just updated my listing, and I'm STILL at the bottom of the list?
Be patient. Right now, we are recalculating our search results order overnight. If you update your listing and don't see your rank in the search results change, wait until the next day. You should see a change

How does the incentive work?
Our goal is to keep our information updated. To do that, we need your help. Every month that you update your information, or even log-in and let us know that nothing has changed, you are entered in the drawing for that month's incentive. The incentive is worth $100 and is usually a gift card to a nationally recognized store. To update your openings, log-in to your account. On your provider home page, you can update your openings under the " Quick Updates " section.
